IJN was established on 1st August 1992 as a heart specialist institution committed to delivering advanced standards in cardiovascular and thoracic medicine for adult and paediatric heart patients. Previously the institute had been part of the Kuala Lumpur General Hospital. Since the foundation of the institute, IJN has treated over a million patients and gained recognition as one of the leading Cardiovascular and Thoracic Health Centre in the region.
Jawatan:
1. RESEARCH NURSE
Responsibilities:
• To conduct and coordinate clinical research projects/clinical trial programs for Principal
Investigators in sample recruitment, research data documentation, management of
investigational product and research essential document as per standard guidelines.
• To provide monthly/annual reports on the progress of the research project management
for Principal Investigator, Department, Ethics Committee and Sponsors.
• To provide communication and serve as liaison personnel between Principal Investigators,
Sponsors and Ethics Committee.
• To provide assistance in study fund disbursement.
• To assist in blood sample collection and preparation.
• To perform other relevant tasks delegated by Head of Department.
Requirements:
• Degree / Diploma in Nursing Registered with Nursing Board.
• Good Clinical Practice (GCP) Certificate
• Phlebotomy skills.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills.

There are also collaborations with leading international medical establishments such as the UK’s Papworth Hospital and the Herz-und in Germany, allowing IJN to introduce modern clinical techniques.
